About me

Born and received early education in Bangladesh. Graduated in medicine from King Edward College in Lahore in Pakistan, and received a BSc. from the University of Punjab. Studied MPH (Masters in Public Health) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA, and received a Post-graduate Diploma in Dermatology from the University of London. Worked as a medical doctor in Pakistan, Iran, Bangladesh and in UK. Along with the medical practices, did researches on social sciences issues and presented the findings in international conferences of IUSSP (International Union of Scientific Studies of Population) at Beijing in 1997 and in Brazil in 1998; some of the articles published in international journals. Other engagements have been in writing articles and books on social, political, cultural, educational and international issues, both in Bengali and English. As a freelance columnist have been writing in several dailies and periodicals of Bangladesh, and also in blogs and websites, and had the opportunities to edit periodicals in London.
