Silence and Inaction are Inexcusable Crimes

The slaughter continues

Even a person with an iota of insight and morality can see the gravest Israeli genocidal war crimes in Gaza. A wholesale  genocide is being executed in broad day light in front of the whole mankind. But nothing is done to stop this massive slaughter. It continues. It is a shameful failure for the whole of mankind -especially of the so-called world leaders. It is now 656 days of non-stop destruction of Gaza and the total seize of its 2 million population. Now starvation is meticulously enforced to cause more deaths, more pains and more sufferings for the people of Gaza.

Resurrection of the Nazi legacy

The government of Israel is exactly following the same footsteps of Hitler’s Nazi Germany. Only the targets are different. This time they are the Muslims. Along with the US and the UK, the government of Germany is actively supporting the resurrection of the Nazi legacy of genocide by the Israeli government by dispatching loads of lethal weapons.

The US and its western allies blame Palestinians for terrorism and anti-semitism. But the question arises, do they have any moral conscience to condemn the illegal occupation of Palestine for more than 70 years? How to end that occupation? Do they have any suggestions for its quick end?

The genocidal display of Semitism

If they consider fighting against the Israeli occupation is terrorism and anti-semitism, then what do they prescribe for the Palestinians to end the occupation without any resistance? If Semitism means illegal occupation of Palestine, ethnic cleansing and war crimes in Gaza, then only the people with total moral death can support that. Instead, it must be the moral duty of every sane man and woman to stand against such a genocidal display of Semitism.     

All over the world, the people with morality and humanity are now condemning Israel for such grotesque war crimes, ethnic cleansing and apartheid rule. But the US leaders still remain silent and so far haven’t uttered even a single word against such huge Israeli genocidal war crimes, ethnic cleansing and apartheid policy.Thus, the US leaders expose their own moral death and ulterior criminal intention. Such morally sick people can only stand soldier to soldier with the genocidal criminals.

Because of the moral death and criminal intention, the US could be an active partner in the ongoing genocidal war crimes in Gaza by giving necessary money, lethal weapons and political support. So far, the US blocked every UN effort to stop the war in Gaza by giving veto. It is a pity that the world is now hostage to such an immoral and inhuman bully like the US. 

Everyone has a duty

Now every man and woman has a duty. Every human must play his or her rule to bring an end to the dominance of the beastly evil power of the US and its evil allies. Otherwise we all face serious consequences; the crimes of the evil power will engulf other parts of the world. Evil is evil for everybody. 

We all live in a shared world. We must agree on some common principles. We must discharge our shared responsibility to make the world safe for people of all races, religions, languages and geographical identities. Ethnic cleansing and apartheid policy must not be permitted on this planet. Security and liberty of one section of people must be a reason to enslave and dehumanise others. Ones’ freedom must not be ensured at the expense of others.

The failing Muslim rulers and institution

The role of the Muslim leaders -especially of Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan, Indonesia look very frustrating. They too look morally dead and too selfish and self-centred. They totally failed to stand by the side of the starving people of Palestine. It looks, they have no leverage on world politics. They are failing the whole Ummah.  

Even the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) looks morally dead; its silence is shocking. Even the shaikhs and muftis of Al Azhar look silent and morally dead. The physical death is known by the body’s reaction to a painful strike on the body. The moral death shows its sign by the lack of inaction for the suffering humans.   

A Muslim has a role

Now the common Muslims have a duty; they must discover their strength and put it into action. If each of 1.5 billion Muslims plays his or her role actively, they can definitely make a difference. A tiny entity of Israel can’t face 1.5 million. For that, Muslims need to be true Muslim. In every Muslim country, they can come to the streets to showcase their anger not only against Israel but also against their own government for inaction. Evey Muslim of every Muslim city must show their anger and strong solidarity with the people of Gaza. That must be embodied as a Muslim culture. This way they can influence and integrate other peace loving people of the world.

Those who are writer, thinker, columnist, blogger and public influencer must play their role with the endowed knowledge and skills. They may not be in a position to fight against Israel, but can persuade their own government to take some actions. They can also contribute globally to influence the global policy makers. They can make use of facebook, X, youtube, WhatsApp,instagram and other means. The whole world is open to us with its ample high tech amenities.  

Inaction is hypocrisy

Everyone must realise, in such an ongoing painful turmoil in Gaza, silence and inaction are inexcusable crimes. A Muslim is always a man of faith and action, he can never be inactive; inaction means hypocrisy. The Ummah is a single body; whoever is a part of it must feel the pain instantly even if a distant part gets hit. If anyone fails to feel the pain of the starving and tormented Palestinians, he defines him as none of the Ummah.

We must be aware, we are all under the Watch of the Almighty Allah Subhana wa Ta’ala. Allah -the Almighty is testing our faith, moral courage and conscience. Our inaction and silence will only add to our punishment here and in the hereafter. 26/07/2025
